congrats everyone the restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad  Chaudhry… but the way It came, it has given birth to few questions!

Indeed today’s morning heard and saw this historic and decisive movement in Pakistan’s history when the unremitting and steady struggle from lawyers, political parties (mainly Tehreek-e-Insaaf, PML-N, Jamat-e-Islami) , electronic & print media and civil society, tasted the fruit of victory against the Musharraf remaining establishment, the arrogant administration & rigid corrupt NRO beneficiaries.

While everyone is celebrating, I don’t want to spoil it, but might as an anti-thesis, I am having few concerns. I would request and expect if anyone would like to guide me over these…

• What took so long (5+ hours) to finalize the speech of Yousaf Raza Gillani, if Prime Minister & President was both agreed, who was the person/party interfering the whole process and rewriting the speech?

• Was there an agreement between PPP & Nawaz League before announcement of restoration?

Where Shehbaz Sharif was actually?

• Where it actually took place? In PM House or American Ambessy?

• Was Gen Ashfaq Kiani there?

• Which side Army was actually favoring initially? Was that a 180 degree turn after the power show of Nawaz Sharif?

• Why restoration of ‘2 November Judiciary, as it was’ hasn’t been mentioned?

• Why notification hasn’t been released yet?

If Iftikhar Chaudhry is reinstated from 3rd November 2007 position and Chief Justic of Pakistan Now, how Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar can retire as Chief Justice of Pakistan at March 21st? because accepting Dogar as constitutional Chief Justice is like validation the 3rd November acts.

• Are there two Chief Justices between 16-03-09 to 21-03-09?

• Will Government demand Iftikhar Chaudhry to take a fresh oath at 21st March 2009?

• Is Government going to cut short the Tenure of CJP Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, or Is he going to complete his tenure up to 2013?

• Can Zardari and all of his advisors and establishment factors survive / sustain simultaneously with Iftikhar Chaudhry?

• NRO… What will be the future?

• Will Parliament dismiss the CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary by Charter of Democracy in coming few months?

• Has PPP decided to give constitutional indemnity to Pervez Musharraf military coup?

• Is Iftikhar Chaudhry going to seat in Cabin No. 1 in Supreme court after 21st March 09 or it was the trump card played by Zardari-Rehman & Co. at the last movement to stop Long March.
